Trattoria il Marinaio — Restaurant in Fiumicino

It was an evening we were looking forward to having a relaxing dinner and wine outside! Unfortunately it was not. They basically ignored us. Left oil and vinegar on the table in bottles. Suddenly the bottles disappeared and we had to wait for packets! So sad. We were basically ignored. Posting this again because I received a response stating they never serve packets. Too bad I didn’t have a photo. We certainly didn’t bring them with me. The RED head woman behind the restaurant was by far the rudest person I’ve ever met…especially someone in the customer service business! My receipt’s have two restaurant names on them and when I posted this review originally, I received a response stating I had the wrong restaurant. If I could give a zero I would. My husband and I went there for dinner on our last night in Rome. We ordered and ended up leaving after about over an hour of waiting for our food. Others arriving and ordering food after us getting their food. Thank you to the lovely Italian couple sitting next to us for caring. They were embarrassed that they got their food and we were still waiting after having ordered over half an hour after us. The rude young woman in the red skirt could not have been ruder or cared less. Every time we tried to ask her anything she rudely replied wait one minute and stormed off. Cutlery was dirty. Worst dining experience ever in all of the world. We ended up paying for our drinks and left. They tried to argue with us and said wait 10 minutes. Do yourselves a favour...

The food was delicious but the service was not good. The reason I say this is, they forget to take out order for 15-20 mins so I had go up to the front to ask if we can order and she was confused and asked where we were seated. Then when we ordered they forgot to make my risotto. The food did come out a couple mins apart so at first I wasn’t worried but when everyone else was almost done with their food I had to go up to the front again and ask how much longer for my risotto.
