Caffè le Gore — Restaurant in Florence

We needed a quick bite before moving on, with not a lot of options in the direct area. But we were lucky. We right away had a warm conversation with the host who really made us land well in Firenze. And then the food came. I wanted to go for something else than after a week of pasta and this hit the spot. Potatoes with eggplant and a octopus stew with spinach and an white wine. Not too complicated but full of flavour and fairly priced. Menu is not extensive but enough too chose from. With a cosy backyard, if you want to be away from music or traffic (as cafes have a tendency to put speakers on full blast). Mi reco qui per pranzare quando sono in trasferta a Firenze. Il locale è un bar ristorante. Ma questo non incide sulla qualità dei piatti e sul servizio.
