Disappointed by Service, Saved by One Kind Waiter

We recently dined at this restaurant with high hopes based on the reviews, but unfortunately, our experience began on a sour note. Upon arrival, we were told that the tables were reserved, despite clearly seeing multiple empty ones. Several waiters seemed reluctant to serve us, and it was hard not to feel that their behavior was influenced by bias — a deeply upsetting and unacceptable experience in this day and age.

Thankfully, one kind and professional waiter noticed what was happening and took it upon himself to serve us. His respectful attitude and attentiveness turned an otherwise disheartening evening into a bearable one.

As for the food — it was excellent. Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It’s a shame that such great cuisine was overshadowed by the behavior of most of the staff.

We ordered pizza, pasta, and salad. The pizza and pasta are of good quality. But the salad is really disappointing. It has only iceberg lettuce, a few small pieces of chicken breast, pieces of cheese, and toasted bread pieces. There's no dressing of any kind, no olive oil, no salt, and no vinegar on the table. When I first saw it, I thought they brought me the wrong dish, but after checking their Manu again, it is confirmed that it was exactly what I ordered (everything on the menu is in Italy and I just guessed what the salad should be like. Visiting this beautiful city while on our way to Milan. As a foreign national , walkin customers (family of 5 with 3 kids) a very bad reception by waiter and cashier. One of the female waiters told us that a 6 person table which was empty is reserved and we cannot sit anywhere, untill a young male waiter with a good spoken English stepped in and settled the issue giving us same table and told its not reserved.
