Gelateria Conti — Restaurant in Florence

I discovered Gelateria Conti thanks to a friend of mine that live two blocks far from it. Ice-cream is very tasty, you can choose from many different kind of flavours and all ice cream are served with biscuits too. I had the bigger cup with pure grain flavour, with dark chocolate, Malaga and yogurt cream. My cup costed five euros, but there are some other cups or cones starting from 1,5 euros. My friend told me that this Ice-cream is better than the famous Badiani...

Very good ice cream; but staff not implementing safety measures. Custumer who came in after me was not wearing mask and came quite close to me (within 1 metre), before fishing a mask out of his pocket and calmly putting it on. Another customer used the exit door instead of the entrance, therefore making the one way system useless. Yet another customer was allowed to eat his ice cream inside.

Staff said absolutely nothing in all of these instances.

Devo dire una cosa: lavorando proprio di fronte e con la qualità del gelato davvero altissima, è stato per me una tappa obbligata per anni, almeno un giorno sì ed uno no praticamente gli finivo la mousse al cioccolato., spettacolare! Da quando hanno il nuovo personale, non riesco più ad entrarci, alla terza volta mi sono resa conto che la gentilezza, la simpatia, la cortesia che tributavano a tutti e che si respiravano appena entrati, si sono perse chissà dove. Specialmente la nuova ragazza mora è spocchiosa, giudicante, al limite della scortesia, non guarda neanche in faccia e sorride ( poco anche li, eh, non ci sbagliamo) solo a chi ci va spesso, mi ha fatto proprio passare la poesia. Era un posto così rilassante, non mi piace davvero più. E non riesco a consigliarlo neppure più agli Ospiti del mio affittacamere. Non gliene potrà importare di meno, clienti ne hanno sempre tanti, ma peggiorare nella qualità della gentilezza non va bene. Avranno forse aumentato un filo l'efficienza, sono veloci questo sì, ma sono altri i valori che cerchi in un posto...
