Me & my friends (all aged 23-25) ate here every night. Since Ischia isn't very touristy it's expected that not many people speak English but we didn't mind at all! The menu was very clear. We were 100% impressed with how lovely and warm the staff were, the food is to die for. We had pizzas, a range of spaghetti's (the seafood is incredible, and the veggie options are incredible too) and 8 euro for a litre of white wine which was locally made and was the best wine I've ever had. The decor is very typical Italian with gorgeous warm lighting, hand painted art, the tables have mosaic designs, and it's just such a chilled, calm and warm vibe. Couldn't recommend this place more if you're looking for a relaxing meal & drinks with your loved ones. We became super friendly with the people who worked there and Da Luca is definitely a place I'll...
Read moreCame here two nights in a row and I have to say that the first night I definitely received much better service than the second night. I was alone the first night and they didn't really seem to want to attend to me but I lucked out and got a server who was the most wonderful spirit I met in all of Italy. I can't remember his name but he had a Lana del Rey shirt and was just the biggest sweetheart ever. His recommendations were all good, such as the peach white wine and the pistachio tiramisu. The pizza was of course exquisite and they have dozens of different combinations to please any palette. I brought in my mom the second night and she enjoyed it too. It was just a little more impersonal the next night, I think mostly because of the language barrier. Definitely reserve a table on the weekends because I noticed it gets...
Read moreThis fantastic restaurant was recommended to us and after a 400m walk we enjoyed one of our most memorable meals on the island. We went there for lunch and had a pizza and the spaghetti with muscles and clams for lunch. The spaghetti was light and delicious with a huge quantity of seafood that was more than any other meal we have gotten yet on our trip. The margarita pizza was classic and tasted amazing. Add to that local white wine and we were in heaven. The restaurant is very cute and eclectic and staff was incredibly kind despite the host not knowing any English. He even gave us a lemonchello shot upon our paying the bill. All this and a salad for just over 30 euro. We only wish we had more time to come back again. Highly recommend this restorante for all travelers to the area and we will hopefully come back again...
