This may have been our favorite place to eat in Ischia! The staff were so friendly. The chef/owner and waiter came out to talk to us, they showed the most interest in us compared to everywhere else we ate, and even offered us a guide book to peruse while we waited for our food. The portions were massive and the prices were very reasonable. On top of all that they gave us complimentary bruschetta and cake! We were rolling out of there, we were so full. I had the tortellini alla Panna, it was very good! My husband had some pasta with lobster, he also found it to be delicious! Also, as mentioned in other reviews, there were many cats wandering the restaurant, so maybe not a good place to go if you are allergic. I personally found it to be very charming! La location è molto accogliente, spaziosa e con la giusta distanza tra i tavoli così da evitare di dover per forza partecipare alle conversazioni degli altri, quindi abbastanza intima. Molto semplice e di altri tempi l'arredo quindi il contrario di un ristorante moderno, high tech, o cose del genere. Noi eravamo causa vento e pioggia all'interno ma ha una terrazza molto grande dove siamo stati in passato e dove si sta molto bene. Il servizio essenziale ma impeccabile. La cucina è semplice, piatti tradizionali, ma molto buona. Eravamo venuti per provare i loro bucatini al coniglio. A differenza di altri ristoranti, la loro ricetta non prevede di fare "tirare" il sugo a lungo, quindi il risultato è un sugo molto delicato con un sapore non intenso ma gustoso e cottura della pasta perfettamente al dente. Il coniglio eccezionale, tenero saporito e ricco di sugo leggero. Non cucinato con tanto pomodoro come da altri, ma solo un po' rosato. Insalata mista semplice ma ottima. Absolutely the best restaurant on the island. We walked in around 14:00 not sure if the place was open or they still had food and waddled out at 16:00 overrun by the quality of the food.
