Ristorante La Rondinella da Anna — Restaurant in Forio

We went here for a late dinner. They didn't have gluten free pasta for my partner, but did some substitutions in some dishes so we had octopus over a potato blend and a fresh sea bass in a tomato and potato broth. More potatos than we had been having, but it was actually a nice break and everything was great. My partner didn't want dessert, so I had their baba which was so good. The woman that runs the restaurant was very nice, and even though we don't speak much Italian and she doesn't speak much English we made it all work. And they didn't play any music, just let us listen to the lovely sound of the ocean...

Dropped in here as they had a hamburger on the menu, supposedly. Ischia does a lot of fish dishes so I was craving some meat. Went with that and received two patties, but no bun - sad face. Managed to salvage the situation slightly by slapping the burgers and a bit of lettuce between two slices of bread, receiving some odd looks as I did so. Decent fries though. Nice desserts too. Pleasant location overlooking the small beach at San Francesco. Reasonably priced. Total bill was €42 including drinks which wasn't too bad, but note that there was a €1 cover...

The best restaurant on the island of Ischia. We went 3 times in one week. The food is amazing, but mostly the team is phenomenal! Gian-Luca, the family and the rest of the staff are very warm, friendly and exceptionally attentive! The place is beautifully located, as it‘s placed right next to the sea, where you can even enjoy amazing sun sets. And the parmigiana, omg the parmigiana… best one we ever had. We are simply in awe and will definitely come back one day....
