My wife and I stopped here for our first Sicilian dinner on our honeymoon and we were not disappointed!
There did not appear to be a menu, but we were offered some antipasti to share, beef carpaccio and bread to start with. There was a varied selection of items that were all tasty and well prepared; the carpaccio was especially delicious.
For our main course we were offered a selection of grilled beef, veal and pork; this was dressed with oil, oregano and lemon, perfectly seasoned with salt and served with bread. This was all meltingly soft and delicious.
Dessert was a generous helping of lemon sorbet, along with a pistachio and ricotta cannoli, which rounded the meal off perfectly.
We ate well and drank a glass each of local red wine (not too acidic, unoaked, with an interesting pepperyness and herbal tones). We also shared a litre bottle of Coca-Cola.
The service was an exemplar of good hospitality (we were made to feel very welcome) and we would highly recommend anyone visit who is after an authentic experience (the restaurant appeared to be full of locals).
