Bar Oasi — Restaurant in Giardini-Naxos

Avoid this place. Rude staff and better choices olsewhere.

First visit, we did not know it was table service so went to order inside and the gentleman asked us for our order, then told us that we have to ask the lady next to him after queuing, so we joined another queue to order from her, for her to then say we have to order at the cashier. What a rude woman who basically yelled at us that we have to sit and wait for someone to come and take our order, so we decided to leave.

We decided in the evening to give them another chance. Sat down outside and waited for our order to be taken. We ordered a rum baba, which was awful and had a funny, soapy like taste at the bottom where the alcohol was, and the strawberry on top and the cream looked old too, so we told one of the staff and the lady went to get another lady. Her response was what's wrong with it?' We told her and her reply was 'well it can't be as we make them fresh' (they are not made fresh daily, I can guarantee you and instead of just accepting this and bring out a new one, she decided to argue with us that there can't be anything wrong with it and that she will try it. She then took it away and brought out 2 small ones and said 'here, try this' and stood there watching my partner eat it to see if it was ok which was patronising and uncomfortable. A man who l assume was the owner came out and again decided to argue with us saying that he's tried it and there's nothing wrong with it and how it's made fresh. He said the two small ones were on him but still decided to charge us for the original one.

Bad customer service and rude...

we waited roughly 40 minutes for three salads and a pasta, only to find out they forgot one and so we had to wait another 30 minutes for that one to arrive. the bolognese tasted awful, the two caeser salads were almost inedible and poorly made, the naxos salad was 90% just lettuce and bland. we also had to wait for over an hour for two icecreams we ordered at the very beginning and they were only brought out after we asked the waiters about it. the restaurant wasn't at all busy to warrant such slow service, and the few tables around us who arrived after us got their orders before we did. the drinks were overpriced as well.

overall a horrible experience, this place is only open because it's in a good area and tourists flock to it upon arrival. a waste of money and time, going to bed hungry would've been...

Innanzitutto se avessi letto prima le recensioni ovviamente di qualche italiano non ci sarei venuto!! Ma diciamo che per una crepes e amaro non pensavo di scandalizzarmi tanto!!! Diffidate dell' ingannevole e denunciabile prezziario esposto al di fuori del locale che anche a detta dei dipendenti non é clamorosamente aggiornato in piena estate!!! Pagare € 26 - 2 crepes alla Nutella e 2 amari locali in mini calici manco fossimo in centro a Milano , Roma o lungomare di Napoli o semplicemente ...al centro dei Giardini Naxos ( ma questo locale ovviamente non lo é affatto) é una ladrata presuntuosa ed arrogante cosí come gli sguardi , il silenzio e l'indisponenza del personale che mai si é posto in maniera sincera e autocritica nei confronti del cliente e alle sue lecite perplessità. Capisco il posto di vacanza , capisco che ci sono tra i clienti molti turisti e stranieri ignari dell' indubbia qualità dei prodotti e del servizio offerti e anche poco predisposti alla polemica per il clima vacanziero .....ma credetemi....essere preso x i fondelli dal prezziario all'esterno e da crepes servite all'istante fredde, palesemente già pre-parate precedentemente , poco riscaldate e presentate in maniera raffazzonata....e poi con tale conto ....roba da chiamare la guardia di finanza o semplicemente denunciarli al servizio consumatori. Siete l'offesa all'intelligenza oltre che al palato dei vostri clienti e all' onestà del valore oggettivo dei prodotti proposti , considerando sia il modo che il luogo. Che voi ( aspiranti clienti ) prendiate assolutamente le distanze da certi commercianti...x...
