Ristorante Pozzo Greco — Restaurant in Giardini-Naxos

Sorry for this. We had the badest Food here while our 3 weeks vacation on Sicilia. The Martini and Aperol wasnt the original product, but the cheap aequivalent - the Pizza wasnt good - and the Lasagne was a desaster. It looked like Cantina Food for a School Mensa, and exactly that way it tasted. Together with a table next to the street we left without finishing the meal.

Maybe its better Inside, what dont change something on the pizza. Thin, ok, but dumped in Tomate Sauce and with extra Olive Oil on top, it wasnt eatable, as it ran out, as written in other Posts before. Very Cheap, but not...

Beautiful garden setting with citrus trees, wood fired clay oven and welcoming, homely feeling! Me and my family had a lovely dining experience under the Sicilian starry sky with local wine, complimentary bruschetta and delicious, very generous main courses of charcoal grilled meat and vegetables. All finished off with ice cold limoncello! The owners and other staff made us feel welcome and well looked after throughout the evening. Very bad experience at this restaurant. I am glad we ordered pizza for the kids as it was the only edible food. First of all you come in and a lady welcomed us with a buonasera so loud that all the guests turned to look. When asking for wine the only option that was given us was the house wine when you would expect them to sell the best wine especially while eating fish. And here comes the best part...we ordered mixed fish salad, it came warm and smelling pretty funny, very clear that fish had just been defrosted on a microwave. Very quietly we spoke to the owner and without apologising he offered to change that with an octopus salad, meaning the only fresh fish they had was octopus. We all ended up eating pizza and left very disappointed. I can add lots more but for now I can just advice to have your meal somewhere else.

Ho letto la sua risposta e per capirci meglio le rispondo in italiano. Abbiamo visitato il suo ristorante sabato 6 aprile per cena, conosco il pozzo greco benissimo perché ci venivo spesso tanti anni fa poi mi sono trasferita all'estero. Per essere precisa quando mio marito l'ha chiamata con discrezione e anche lei ha constatato che l'insalata di mare era tiepida, e' poi ritornato offrendo un antipasto di polipo e calamari. Per finire e farle capire che non mi sbaglio sul posto, quando ho chiesto della toilette, una signora mi ha mandato nel vicino credo sia un bed and breakfast, dove io e mia figlia siamo rimasti chiusi dentro per un po' perché la serratura era difettosa e prima di andare via lo abbiamo fatto notare alla signora. Penso non c'e' altro...
