Ristorante Valparaiso — Restaurant in Ilartzi/Ghilarza

We stopped here for lunch during our road trip of Sardinia and we were extremely content with our choice. The staff was so welcoming and nice. They showed us the fish they could prepare for us and told us about the traditional dishes they had. We had freshly made sea bass and traditional pasta cheese and potato dumplings in saliva and butter sauce. The food was perfectly prepared and very good. Great service and spectacular food! Probably one of the best if not the best raviolis I have ever tried: magnificent sauce! Branzino carpaccio is also a pleasant surprise - such a rich taste! Octopus skewers starter was delicious but I'd appreciate a bit more octopus at this price point. Tuna main was top notch - we absolutely loved it - it didn't have any fancy sauces but it was cooked so well that we enjoyed it more than any tuna...

We had amazing wine, great food (jalapenos, fried pumpkin flowers and pasta with clams) and it was delicious! The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is so cozy! They dont have a menu on paper but written on chalkboard and anything you choose is good! It is green and nice park around....
