Beautiful location in the heart of Parasio, the medieval old town of Porto Maurizio. The restaurant offers chic outdoor seating with magnificent views. Service is professional and friendly and yet not invading. The restaurant offers à la carte as well as a set menu accordingly to the season. We were a small group and we all had the Menù Degustazione " Intrecci". The chef draws up beautiful plates and the crockery tableware is very elegant. The portions are just right but two points I would like to underline: - the pasta was way to al dente for me. And I mean it. I don't like it when it gets to the point that you feel like you are eating raw flour. - the vegetables on the main course plate could be larger pieces or more present on the plate. It sure looks harmonious to carefully place tiny little pieces of food across plates with tweezers but the "painting" should be more than just art. That's why I gave it a 4*, hoping they will read my review and make a few little changes. Yet it's certainly a delightful experience for a romantic dinner or for quality time with friends and a definite GO if you are still debating whether you should try it.

What an adventure for the palate! The young duo running the show are both very skilled in their respective domains. Chef Vincenzo inventiveness is paired with the otherworldly delivery of supremely enjoyable dishes, while his spouse Gessica professionalism is not lost on the customers who can rely on an attentive presence without the feeling of intrusion. Her delivery, class and compentence were not lost on me. The square spaghetti with eggplant, nori and peanuts was more than surprisingly delicious, what a formidable combination. The poached egg with parmesan cream, olive oil and two style potatoes finished with shaved truffle was also an unforgettable experience. Dessert was another feat. Reinventing a classic like tiramisu is not for the faint of heart, but Chef Vincenzo wins hands down. I will not reveal the secret to avoid spoiling the surprise. Desserts were

We highly recommend Grillo if you're looking for a dinner that feels refined but in a relaxed atmosphere. The setting in Paraiso, surrounded by beautiful old buildings, is very charming. We had the large dégustation menu (88 €) and absolutely loved it. The service was incredibly friendly and professional, and every dish was of excellent quality. The different textures and flavors came together beautifully. The highlights for us were the perfectly cooked fish, the duck breast with a Parmesan foam, and the desserts. The wine list is carefully curated with small producers and we followed the very good recommendations by the owner. Everything together made for a great dinner experience.
