The food was exceptional. I ordered the Fusilli alla genovese estiva con ginepro e polvere d'arancio And Coniglio all'ischitana con pomodorini e profumi della tradizione
So basically Pasta with light Genovese, with onions and various cuts of meat, wich the scent of orange and juniper. And Rabbit ragù with wild herbs, simmered with white wine, garlic and romatoes
I paid €42 for these two dishes, water and one glass of wine. Worth it.
The trek is not for the faint of heart. I suggest getting a taxi. And even then you have to climb a mountain of stairs to get to the top lol. The grounds are gorgeous. I suggest arrive before it’s dark so you can see the view. I arrived when it opened, but the staff sat me at a table without a view. I thought this was strange since no one else was there atm It it was all good though. Just ask to sit where you’d like.

Read moreFound this one as a recommendation from a good friend of mine. Visited on 30.08 very spontaneously without any reservations (I wasn't aware) After a bit of a steep hike, you can reach the charming place, such an enchanting view of the Ischia Porto, Castello Argonese...absolutely breathtaking. The staff is very pleasant and kind and attentive. They got me a place to sit, without any reservation, and that was very lovely. I had some of their own wine, white wine..love the fruity notes of it. As the main dish did try the Rabbit stew, sooo delicious and I really enjoyed it. For dessert I tried lemon cake, also very flavorful. It was like a very beautiful dream to sit there, have amazing food and drinks, and enjoy the captivating sunset above Ischia. I highly recommend this place, it's a must if you ever...
Read moreWe arrived at 7 and were the first people there. The ride up on the machine was noisy and the driver just couldn’t. Once at the top it’s a beautiful view, but the rest wasn’t as good as we’ve had on the rest of the island service or food. Plus, they don’t serve beer. I get it, you’re surrounded by wine grapes, and you sell wine, but at least give me a choice. As people came in it was clear all the were tourists. Once we left it was mad house getting down the narrow streets and we had to sit in a jam while people negotiated who would back up and who would go forward on the one lane roads leading to the lower entry of the restaurant.
Also: if you drive a car, call ahead to make sure and let them know so they reserve a parking spot at the...
