I Ricci officina del gusto — Restaurant in Ischia

My husband and I have been going to dine at the I Ricci since last year when we were on holidays on Ischia island, and this year (2025) we went again there for our summer break and we were welcomed again to this fabulous and amazing fish restaurant (run by only ladies 🤩 a family business) we went alone and also brought my parents and another time friends and they were amazed as well. Un’esperienza surreale… e non in senso positivo!

Esperienza: Siamo capitati in una serata particolarmente sfortunata: problemi alle cabine elettriche hanno lasciato il locale senza corrente per gran parte della cena. Ci siamo ritrovati a mangiare a lume di candela, in piena estate, senza alcun ventilatore e con il caldo opprimente, mentre in sottofondo risuonavano martellate e lavori dei tecnici intenti a sistemare i cavi.

Per leggere il menù e vedere i piatti, abbiamo dovuto usare le torce dei cellulari. Dopo il ripristino della luce pubblica, abbiamo chiesto di spostarci all’esterno per un po’ di refrigerio, ma ci è stato risposto che non c’erano posti disponibili. Il risultato? Buio e afa per circa tre quarti della serata. Solo verso il dessert e l’amaro la luce è tornata.

Il conto amaro (in tutti i sensi): Il totale è stato di 213€. Abbiamo chiesto un piccolo gesto, visto il disagio evidente, sperando di scendere a 200€ per carineria, ma ci è stato concesso solo uno “sconto” di 3€. Inoltre, nel conto erano presenti 5 amari per un totale di 20€ che molti ristoranti, specie in certe situazioni, offrono spontaneamente. Alla nostra richiesta, la risposta è stata che non potevano fare di più e che, in realtà, “il vero disagio lo avevano avuto loro questa sera”.

Conclusione: Capisco che un guasto elettrico non sia colpa diretta del locale, ma il modo in cui viene gestito fa la differenza. In questo caso è mancata empatia, attenzione e un po’ di eleganza commerciale. Peccato, perché non ci ritorneremo più e non lo...
