Fish 3 Ways – Do it! Chef Ralmondo Triolo, a Sicilian, has a clever menu in which you select a fish, caught that morning, and it is delivered as an antipasto, First Course (pasta), and Second Course (pesca). We selected a scorpion fish. The fish carpaccio was amazing – light lemon flavoring and Sicilian olive oil with red pepper corns! The pasta course had very little of the fish and the spiral pasta was very al dente. However, the Second course was another amazing dish. A filet, very moist and tender, under a blanket of extremely thin baked potato slices. The semi-freddo dessert was the best we’ve had in 2 weeks of travel. Welcoming staff and owner. I would certainly recommend it if you have multiple nights to spend in ischia; It offers a nice break from the stretch of indistinguishable restaurant situated in the rest of the port (the other one would be Il Focolare, which is more meat/vegetable based although only accessible by car).
The downside is that prices are a bit steep for what you are given (140 euros for two persons including a bottle of wine) and they do not have a written menu (which can give you the feeling that you...
