Porto51 - Music Drinks Food — Restaurant in Ischia

Blatantly rude and unprofessional. I asked for a table to drink only, for myself and possibly my family who would join me. The waitress directed me to a table for four. A couple then sat at the next table. The waitress brought them a drinks menu and chatted to them. When she turned away I smiled and asked if I could also have a drinks menu. She got defensive and said she was waiting for my family to arrive. I said no problem and smiled again. Another couple arrived and sat at the table on the other side of me. The waitress again ignored me and served them. I left at that point. I sure hope this bar can afford to drive away potential customers like this; if not they’ll be out of business before the end of the summer. There are much more friendly places to drink in...

My wife had been looking forward to Porto51 ever since we started planning our trip to Ischia. That's a lot of pressure, but they absolutely delivered. The views of the port with the mountains looming in the background were incredible. The cocktails were inventive and delicious (they took the time to ask what we like and made recommendations tailored to our tastes)! We ordered a fried chicken sandwich (I know, we're in Italy, but we'd had 2 weeks of pasta and pizza and wanted a change) and it was so crispy and delicious. We also had a Zingara which is a grilled sandwich which really hit the spot. Anyways, stop reading this and go grab a drink and a bite and don't skip...

Awesome bar- a step above the rest. Amazing food with something for everyone, drinks so good that I rave about them to my friends- and the most creative presentation ever! Each cocktail corresponds to an old Neapolitan classic song that you can actually listen to on cassette.

This place has an excellent vibe- like a fusion of old-school Los Angeles studio51 energy mixed with classic Italian/Neapolitan/Ischian touches that are visible in the decor, menu, music etc.

And on that note, there is often incredible, diverse live music happening that makes you want to stop and stay for a while or get up from your table and dance. Love it here- a favorite hangout,...
