Things started out great but ended badly. The food was delicious but if you like “regular” portions this is not your place. There were flying ants everywhere. On the table, on the floor, on us biting. We only ate main dishes, and when the waiter asked us about second dishes or desserts we said no. The owner was very friendly and he gave us little fried pizzas and fish appetisers while we waited for our food. The appetizer we actually ordered with the 5 types of fish was delicious. And the grilled swordfish fillet was the best I’ve ever had. The seafood pasta was also amazing. I would greatly recommend this place for the food, but the atmosphere was also very pleasant. Having put up with the 'chicken run' of hawkers badgering us to buy their pasta/pizza and prosecco for €20, this restaurant just relied on its menu and wasn't any more expensive.
The chap who served us was lovely, agreed to give us the free prosecco that his neighbours offered and happily moved us inside when our daughter was feeling unwell in the heat. The €3 service charge is standard, maybe a little high here, but is instead of a tip!
