Little gem of a place!! As you step onto this idyllic island, you are practically greeted by this authentically Ischian pub. It is the most unique establishment on the island - a tourist information hub meets great local eatery! 😍 The incredibly friendly and knowledgeable co-owner Mina, is the person you want to meet at the beginning of your holiday as she will ensure your stay is the best it can be. After recommending what to eat/drink, she will tell you about all the best spots to visit and because of her extensive experience in the tourism industry, may even help you to book some remarkable trips. We went on a few and they were amazing! Nothing is too much trouble for her - she seems to thrive on helping people!!!!!🤩 The diverse selection of drinks, (including the refreshing Pirama Spritz!🍹) freshly prepared food (generous cutting boards!) and relaxed atmosphere make this a great place to hang out at any time of day. We met a mixture of friendly locals as well as customers from around the world - a real melting pot of nationalities! I would recommend trying the famous Zingara (typical Ischian toasted sandwich-yum!) and the Crepe Special😋 lovingly prepared by the owner Frank; who is a legend in his own right as apparently he and his beloved Pirama have been there since 1985!😲 Well worth the calories! Since 1985 Pirama Restaurant and Pub has been a tourist and local favorite on the Italian island Ischia.Part owner by Mina Latino; who was born and 1/2 of the year remains a local is delighted. She is entertaining and friendly with conversations of tales of TV personalities such as Jimmy Kimble and others who have visited the isle. The restaurant has a beautiful scenic location which is located on the edge of the isle where local boats and ferries dock. My friend enjoyed the lasagna ( some of the best he has ever had . I had a local favorite dish "zingers panini".The food is made in front of you and very fresh. The place is also a pub with a verity of non and alcoholic drinks to select from to enjoy. I just want to share that my daughter and I stopped for a drink while waiting for our ferry. We met the most amazing person and her name is Mina.After becoming fast friends and becoming friends on Facebook, that’s when we realized how amazing she is. The ferry never showed and we were left stranded (not the worst place to be stranded). With that said, Mina helped the entire group and arranged transportation to a different port.
