Our family of four had the wonderful opportunity to dine at Rossi Restaurant & Pizza during our stay in Lido di Jesolo, and the experience left us thoroughly impressed!

By-passed this place several times on the basis of it's cool, stylish and modern decor, which we thought = Expensive. Pausing to actually read the menu one evening we discovered that actually, it's very in-expensive ! ( my standard Margharita-o-meter benchmark of EUR6.00 is on a par with basic take-away prices!). On successive evenings we tried pasta, pizza and salads and all were excellent: Pizzas were especially good, traditional (northern) italian style rather than tourist style. Service was a bit slow sometimes but a lot of the staff seemed very young, so maybe a little more experience is all that's required. I'm taking away a star because I personally think that dogs should not be allowed in a restaurant, but otherwise I was very impressed. Unwanted Upselling: Despite my partner politely but explicitly declining wine, the waiter poured her a glass anyway. Additionally, he pushed for a whole bottle of wine when I specifically requested a glass. Unprofessional Service: It was concerning to see our waiter drinking beer while on the job. Overly Aggressive Sales Tactics: The waiter heavily promoted add-ons to our meal, which resulted in unnecessary food waste. Overcooked Fish: The fish itself seemed fresh, but it was unfortunately cooked past the point of perfection.
