Our family of four had the wonderful opportunity to dine at Rossi Restaurant & Pizza during our stay in Lido di Jesolo, and the experience left us thoroughly impressed!
From the moment we entered, we were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The restaurant's décor was charming, and the staff's welcoming smiles set the tone for what would be a fantastic evening.
Our dinner began with a selection of delectable appetizers that pleased both adults and kids alike. The flavors were rich, and the presentation was impeccable. Our children, often picky eaters, couldn't get enough of the crispy calamari and creamy garlic dip.
For the main course, we explored a variety of dishes that catered to different tastes. The seafood linguine was a standout, with perfectly cooked pasta and an array of succulent seafood that showcased the freshness of the ingredients. The children's menu offered a range of options, and our little ones devoured their pasta with delight.
The service was exceptional throughout the evening. The staff's attention to our needs, especially considering the kids' requirements, was beyond commendable. They made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed without being intrusive, allowing us to enjoy our family time to the fullest.
The highlight of our dining experience was undoubtedly the dessert. The tiramisu was an absolute masterpiece, a perfect balance of flavors and textures that left us all craving for more. It was the ideal way to conclude our meal on a sweet note.
In conclusion, Rossi Restaurant & Pizza provided us with an unforgettable family dinner experience. The combination of delightful dishes, impeccable service, and a welcoming ambiance made it a dining destination we will cherish in our memories. Read moreBy-passed this place several times on the basis of it's cool, stylish and modern decor, which we thought = Expensive. Pausing to actually read the menu one evening we discovered that actually, it's very in-expensive ! ( my standard Margharita-o-meter benchmark of EUR6.00 is on a par with basic take-away prices!). On successive evenings we tried pasta, pizza and salads and all were excellent: Pizzas were especially good, traditional (northern) italian style rather than tourist style. Service was a bit slow sometimes but a lot of the staff seemed very young, so maybe a little more experience is all that's required. I'm taking away a star because I personally think that dogs should not be allowed in a restaurant, but otherwise I was very impressed. Update summer 2023: prices have risen considerably across the menu, but then the same has happened at every other restaurant in town. Quality and variety still good, service still not perfect but much better than...
Read moreWe were drawn in by the many positive reviews for this Restaurant, so we decided to try it out for dinner. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of the glowing reviews.
The restaurant attempts to create a sophisticated atmosphere, but several key elements detracted from the experience:
Unwanted Upselling: Despite my partner politely but explicitly declining wine, the waiter poured her a glass anyway. Additionally, he pushed for a whole bottle of wine when I specifically requested a glass. Unprofessional Service: It was concerning to see our waiter drinking beer while on the job. Overly Aggressive Sales Tactics: The waiter heavily promoted add-ons to our meal, which resulted in unnecessary food waste. Overcooked Fish: The fish itself seemed fresh, but it was unfortunately cooked past the point of perfection.
Overall, our experience at Rossi was disappointing. While the food had potential, the service missteps and upselling tactics overshadowed...
