Pizzeria Ristorante La Marachella — Restaurant in La Maddalena

Really lovely little pizza place just past the main square. They have limited gluten free options, but they do offer gluten free which is always greatly appreciated. They have gluten free pizza, but it is just a frozen margherita pizza - it's okay as a quick dinner option if you are looking for gluten free. I added some extra toppings for a bit more flavour. Their kitchen is tiny so would be impossible to do gluten free freshly made there, so I really appreciated that they still made the effort with gluten free and offered a pizza cooked elsewhere to avoid cross contamination. The waitress really understood contamination, so as a coeliac I felt very safe eating there.

My partner isn't gluten free and he had a brilliant pizza that he said was delicious.

Perfect! Just perfect! At the beggining we were amazed we had to make a reservation on a week day. One of us was turning 50, so we gladly made it for the next day. It had a great grade in their reviews, after all. The next day, entering, we realized they had two separated spaces. The one see from the outside and a whole other room on the inside. And it was full. Nevertheless, the time we waited for the pizzas was really reasonable, the atmosphere was totally worth it, the service was amazing (thanks to Nancy and all of the attention she gave the kids and us all night), our birthday party was excellent and the pizzas... what can I say about the pizzas... the best we have ever had... not just saying... they actually were the best any of us had ever tasted. A few of our group were really well traveled and have had many, many others in many, many countries, bit we all agreed these were the best pizzas ever! A MUST GO in...

We walked in early one evening, off-season in January, and it got busy quickly. Everyone was SO NICE and spoke perfect English, the pizza was fantastic (we eat a lot of pizza and can be very picky) and all of that for a reasonable price. It was a fantastic evening, and I would like to thank all staff (we had three different people attending our table) for being so welcoming. Great experience, third time in La Maddalena and this will be a restaurant we’ll come back...
