Restaurant Caprera — Restaurant in La Maddalena

I am very disappointed of the table service, it was a very special day for me and I wanted to take my friends to this restaurant. As soon as we got in, no waiter gave us attention, we waited so long for someone to come. Then we ordered catch of the day, it was a fish and they showed it to us, the fish looked bigger than the actual food portion. When we wanted to pay we tried to explain that on the actual bill, was way to expensive comparing the food we had. The food portions were way too small, and the fish they showed us looked bigger. The waiter started being very aggressive and argued with us, then another other waiter who was a female with tattoos spoke with us and been so rude as well, she said that we didn’t like that we was laughing and had a good time. I don’t recommend this place to anyone, the people who work there are not professional, they don’t care about their clients and they want to steal money from clients by giving them a very small amount of food from what is actually is. Be careful when you order the fish of the day because the they don’t write in the receipt any details, we end up paying 275€ for 4 Portions...

We tried directly there but a table was not available so they took my number and said that they can call us if a table is available and we do not find another restaurant (very nice offer). They did called us, but we were already in another, so we decided to book it for the next evening (is better to book it in advance). Food was very nice, had an issue in beginning when the order was taken due to language, but another waiter promptly came and he was speaking english. My girlfriend and I had the most wonderful experience here. The day before we wanted to reserve a table because they were booked out for the day. Our waiter was Francesco and he did an amazing job. It is those times when you know the waiter sees everything, is always kind and explains everything to you. The food is ofcourse pricey but really worth it!
