Pizzeria Ristorante Palati FiNi — Restaurant in La Spezia

I had dinner twice in this restaurant.

The first time, it was a week day. Inside was a party of 10ish people and few other tables. The terrace was almost full. The service was smooth, had a pleasant server that took time to explain the menu (all in italian, no other version). Food was good (ravioli), desert was really good (brownie).

Considering my first good experience, i decided to return. Oh boy... It was a weekend, therefore much busier. There were only 2 waiters. One of them was overwhelm, running around like a headless chicken. Passed my table 10 times without taking my order (although I had waved, after a few times). I felt forgotten, my table was hidden by a post. After having waited at least 45min, I went up to the till and ordered my dessert...

The chef was also doing waitressing, bringing dishes and removing empty plates on his way. Always with a smile!

The food was still good, unfortunately the service on this occasion...

We spent three days in La Spezia, and on our first evening we chose this place because it was close to our accommodation. They had the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life! On the second night, we decided to try a different restaurant — we wanted to explore more — but guess where we ended up on the third night? We just couldn’t resist coming back.

Amazing pizza, excellent service, and such kind people. Thank you for the authentic Italian experience — it was truly wonderful. I highly recommend...

we ordered two pizzas to-go, and these were some of the best pizzas we have eaten in our lives! we definitely recommend you trying this restaurant if you are staying in la Spezia! the restaurant was very busy, so we had to wait a pretty long time for our food, but it was really worth it! they looked like they were low staff when we were there, so we forgive them (the staff was really sweet). all in all, even though it was very busy, i’d say it was 100% worth...
