Piccolino Cucina e Pizza — Restaurant in Lazise

Literally the best dining experiences I've ever had. Really putting into perspective past 5 stars I've given, because this is 5 stars.

The staff is super nice. Easy to be friends with. They feel really welcoming and check on you just enough times to make sure you have everything you expect.

The menu is small and effective. Each and every dish is made with absolute care and professionalism. You can safely let go of your go to meals because there are a variety of unique dishes that are all delicious and new.

Then the food. Oh god the food. The pizza are a have to. I assure you, you have never eaten a pizza like this. It's seriously good. The pasta dishes are really tasty too and the prices are more than fair in my opinion. The portions are just right and the visual presentation of the dishes are simply beautiful. You can tell it's made by someone who loves what they do.

The atmosphere of the place is really cosy. The restaurant sits in a nice little square between the houses and it looks good both during the night and day.

All in all this is the true 5 star restaurant for me. Everybody from the staff does a great job and they represent what I love about Italy! The warm, welcoming presence of friendly people and...

Ambient: Beautifull place, it is evident that it is either new or was recently renovated.

Service: We came to Piccolino 2 times in 2 days for dinner. The welcome and service were as good as their food is, Luca works with his heart. He and his colleague were very kind with the kids.

Food: We tried their Sfiziosa pizza that was very good, we also tried Frito Misto, Spaghetti Carbonara, Tortelinni with Black Truffles. Everything they brought from the kitchen was just perfect. The desserts were also very good, I had the Ice-cream with rum, it was delicious.

We came with a couple of tired and frazzled little ones and even though my youngest pitched a fit a few times, the staff were nothing but kind, friendly and gracious. The food was fantastic, the prices very fair and place was in a nice spot in the town square. But I really can't express how polite and welcoming the staff were, we had no reservation, two annoying kids and looked as tired as we felt - but they still managed to make us feel at home and unjudged. 10 out of 10...
