Ristorante Lido la Marra — Restaurant in Lazise

Unfortunately we lived a bad experience here. First of all, the waiter (service personnel) who served us was not kind. We felt the arrogance and rudeness. I ordered a meal whose name was written as ‘mixed fried fish’. But they served sea fruit (squid, calamari, shrimp, octopus etc). Later I realized that the english description was wrong. It was not my mistake. I cannot check all 3 languages. I notice that it is written Sea Fruit in German. But octopus, shrimp, calamari are not fish. I objected and requested them to serve mixed fried fish. However the waiter kept insisting that sea fruit is fish. He said in a very rude manner: octopus is fish, shrimp is fish, this this fish. He did not behave in a good manner…We are frightened. We did not want to argue more. I ordered another meal since i was hungry. I did not eat the sea fruits and give it back. Nevertheless, I paid for it (although i did not eat) the money is not important. The policy, attitude and behavior were really bad. We were spending a nice day in Garda Lake for our holiday and it was a very bad experience. I expect better...

Di solito non faccio recensioni, ma questa volta spenderò un po' del mio tempo per avvisare chi leggerà. Non sprecate i vostri soldi in questo ristorante! Ho frequentato per anni questo locale, complici le passeggiate col cane, mi fermavo poi volentieri a mangiare nonostante i prezzi più alti perché la qualità era veramente appagante. Perciò ero decido di fermarmi con mio marito e mia figlia. Non so se sia cambiata la gestione, ma i piatti non erano nulla di speciale (visto il costo), anzi gli spaghetti allo scoglio sapevano solo di pomodoro allungato. Hanno anche sbagliato a portaci un piatto, nonostante fosse stato segnato correttamente dal cameriere, in cucina ne hanno preparato un altro, ma pazienza, può capitare. Ci hanno semplicemente cambiato l'ordine segnato, su nostra segnalazione (non avevamo tempo di farci rifare il piatto perché altrimenti non avremo più mangiato tutti insieme). Finito di mangiare ci avviamo alla cassa dove abbiamo aspettato diversi minuti in piedi, con sole due persone davanti, perché chi si occupava della cassa faceva anche le preparazioni delle bevande ordinate (un'unica persona), non mi è sembrato all'altezza del posto che appare. Arrivati però al momento di pagare ecco la nota dolente e delusione più totale... 5€ per una bottiglia di acqua. Due bottiglie d'acqua 10€. Ora io capisco tutto, ma non siamo fronte lago, le posate erano nei tovaglioli di carta, abbiamo anche le persone davanti in costume che prendono sole sull'erba, non abbiamo mangiato pesce pescato. 5€ per una bottiglia d'acqua mi sembra davvero eccessivo. Anzi lo trovo offensivo al rispetto per il cliente che a questo punto è solo un pollo da spennare. Non ci siamo proprio, a malincuore ma non ci torno più. Non do una stella perché il cameriere era...

Don’t go there! We waited 2-3 hours for our food. After the wait we got starters and maincourses at the same time, but not for everybody at the table at once. We ended up canceling a pizza after, we’ve been waiting 2 hours and 40min. When paying the bill we refused to pay for the pizza and told the manager that we had been waiting for almost 3 hours for it. The manager responded with “maybe you have been waiting for 3-4-5-6 hours” The food was ordinary and wasnt worth the wait or money. Save your money, and go get some real italian...
