Maurizio, the owner of this enoteca, is for me an example of how a shop owner should operate. He is truly passionate and extremely knowledgable about natural wine. He doesn't mind spending his time talking with you about different producers and producing methods with the purpose of rather introducing you to the world of natural wine than to sell you the most bottles possible. I don't know how many times I was pleasantly surprised (ie: completely blown away) by the wine selection... it's not huge, but the stock is incredible (mostly because there's just a couple of most bottles). Bottles/vintages I haven't seen anywhere else in Italy and I was more than excited to stock up.
Also, not sure I ever met an owner as passionate as this one... point at any bottle and he'll tell you all about the winemaker (and their whole family), grape, label, and all the interesting facts. Wines chosen with care.
