Osteria la Caletta — Restaurant in Lerici

Without a doubt, the best restaurant in Tellaro. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and full of charm—perfect for a relaxed dinner by the sea. The staff is absolutely lovely: friendly, attentive, and always on top of every detail. Service was impressively fast, and the food… simply outstanding.

We chose the Caletta Tasting menu for two, priced at €24 per person. They served us an incredible variety of around 15 different dishes, all featuring seafood and fish, each one more delicious than the last. The quality and freshness of the ingredients really stood out in every bite.

There were even more dishes on the menu that looked amazing, and we’re already looking forward to going back to try them. In total, with the tasting menu, dessert, wine, and water, we paid €67—a fantastic price for the amount and quality of food we enjoyed.

We arrived quite late to Tellaro on our first night and called ahead to ask if we could still order food if we arrived as late as 21:45. When we arrived the staff was prepared for us and we were allowed to finish our meal without being rushed, although we definitely stayed longer than we ought have (past closing time 22:30). We had the crayfish ravioli and trofie with pesto, both fantastic! For starters we had bruschetta and chickpea fritters, both were fine but neither my favorite. The bruschetta came on more of a crostini than toasted bread, which is just not my favorite version. Very flavorful with oregano and capers and olives (I think). The portion size for the chickpea fritters was way too big for us (two people), but I guess that depends on how...

We have visited this restaurant more than once. They made our stay in Tellaro great. It was not so easy, to get vegan options in Tellaro.

The second time we visited, we had to wait for a table. The staff was more thank lovely to accomodate while waiting.

They were always more than helpful, when we had a few questions on the menu. Need to emphasize, that the staff was very friendly, authentic and helpful.

The food was exquisite too. They made tasteful Spaghetti al Pomodoro for us (was not on the menu).
