We went around 8:30 PM and the place was full, but luckily there was a table available inside. It was a bit warm, but still comfortable. We started with mussels stuffed with tomato, which were very tasty, but the portion was quite small: just six small mussels for €15 — a bit pricey for the quantity.
Next, we had a cherry tomato and cuttlefish salad. It was fresh, flavorful, and the portion size was just right. However, there was a 35-minute wait between the first dish and the salad, which felt like too much time for such a simple plate with only two ingredients, especially at €15.
For the main course, we had the tagliatelle with cuttlefish ink, shrimp, and squid — absolutely delicious, generous in portion, and packed with quality seafood (€16). To drink, we ordered water and a 1/4 liter of house white wine.
The total bill came to €63. The staff was friendly throughout. In summary: great quality ingredients and well-prepared dishes, but the prices are on the higher side and the wait between courses...
Read moreTypical tourist joint that will get customers no matter what, thanks to the lively location. Unfortunately, the food quality suffers. We had the gnocchi with small squids and squid ink pasta. Both dishes were small and offensively bland. Usually, squid ink pasta is a pasta served in a squid ink sauce. Here however, they use pasta that was added some squid ink in the production process. It looks black but tastes like nothing. The intention, clearly, was to save costs. The overall impression we got from the restaurant was that of a well-oiled machine that knows how to use the great location and lively atmosphere to its advantage. They have a written menu with Ligurian classics to signal culinary standards, but at heart, it’s a (mediocre) pizzeria that trades off atmosphere with food quality. If you want to have a good meal, don’t come here! If you’re interested in pizza and a lively atmosphere, you could ...
Read moreUnfortunately not a good experience. The pizzas that we ordered was not delivered. A restaurant can make mistakes, but it’s was unfortunate that instead of fixing the problem, they acted as that they did not care at all of the customer. I believe that their kitchen is good, but unfortunately no structure and no sense of what makes a customer service. When ordered a traditional Cosmopolitan (that was on the menu) I got a blue/grey drink, undrinkable. When telling the bar tender that it is no Cosmopolitan, no insights into what the problem was, just that they used passion fruit juice and blueberry and surprised that “I did...
