Da Rino — Restaurant in Levanto

I was trying to call them yesterday at 7 ( they started working at 7) several times. But it was unsuccessful. Later on at 19:30 I was trying to reach them by foot to make an order for 20:30. Most of the tables were free at that moment. I was trying to do a reservation for 20:30 , but they said that they DON'T DO THAT IN HOUR IN ADVANCE and they said to me to come at 20:15 to find a free table. When I came at 20:20 there were no free tables and SOME OF THEM WERE RESERVED SOMEHOW. And they just said that "Now all the tables are occupied, you should've come 5 minutes in advance". The restaurant Da Rino is located in an old pretty street of Levanto, where you have the choice of eating inside or outside. The staff and owners are very welcoming, providing a relaxed dining experience and a great service. The menu choice is varied, from serving typical food of the reagion together with traditional Italian food. The fish dishes are delcious and well presented. Our first night in Levanto on our 3 week Italian road trip and the food was incredible! I ordered the octopus and potatoes; my wife ordered the pesto pasta and we were both very happy! The service was great as we got there when it opened and the female waiting staff were very hospitable. It would have been nicer to have a busier restaurant to eat at but I think we got out for dinner too early.
