Pasticceria Bianchi — Restaurant in Levanto

Pastries are tasty but then there are not many alternatives in levanto... the style of the place is that of an old italian salon de thé and that looks quite authentic. However this place felt like we were in a factory so it was not a pleasant experience for us: all the tables were full of trash, empty cups, and no staff bother to clean them up. The queue to buy pastries/coffee was so long (and came out on the street) as only one staff is serving both pastries and making coffee so it is very slow...while another staff instead of helping to serve is putting cakes away in a fridge one by one with the pace of a snail. she didn't think for a moment that she had to prioritise: leave the cakes for a minutes, get the queue sorted, sort out the tables and give them a clean and then go back to her freaking cakes. so we bought the pastries and went for the coffee somewhere else for the real italian experience! this place could run so efficiently if it...

Deludente é dir poco... I fatti: siamo a Levanto per 3 giorni di vacanza e nostro figlio compie tre anni. Decidiamo di comprare una piccola e semplice crostata per quattro. Siamo in tre ma se per caso dovesse avanzarne possiamo mangiarla anche a colazione. Bene, la ordiniamo e il giorno dopo passiamo a ritirarla. Paghiamo 33 euro. Esatto, una crostata per quattro in questa pasticceria che è sulla cresta dell'onda dal 1889, una crostata per 4 costa così. Va bene, la paghiamo e a casa, capiamo che dei gloriosi anni di fine '800 é rimasto ben poco. Primo, hanno usato lo stesso impasto dei biscotti secchi per fare una crostata e temo che la mia povera mia nonna si sta rivoltando nella tomba solo a sentir dire una cosa del genere. Secondo, hanno steso la base e, dopo aver spalmato la cioccolata (nel nostro caso non era con la marmellata) hanno appoggiato la copertura. Ripeto, appoggiata, con il risultato che la torta era completamente slegata dalla base, ovviamente. Terzo, se mi dovete rifilare 12 porzioni quando insieme ne abbiamo stabilite un terzo, fatemelo sapere prima e cercheremo di fare una vacanza più lunga, così da poter fare tante golose colazioni con i vostri dolci. Ora, io non sono un pasticcere ma cucino qualcosina a casa mia. Spero quindi in una risposta da parte dei titolari in modo da avere un confronto col reparto...
