We were looking for a place to have dinner in Levanto without a reservation. The restaurant was busy, but the waitress was very nice and told us there would be a table available in 30 minutes. She offered us a high table where we could have a drink while we waited. The restaurant is nicely decorated, and you can tell they have a lot of experience serving traditional local dishes. We started with a carpaccio, which was just okay – the salad underneath and the creamy sauce didn’t really complement the high-quality white fish. A simpler sauce might have worked better. For the mains, I had a vegetable and cheese cannelloni which was piping hot and delicious. My wife got the seafood risotto and it was filled with mussels, clams, cuttlefish, shrimp, and prawns. Super low key dish and really lets the fish speak for themselves. Thumbs up.
We finished off with the tiramisu. Super good.
