I recently visited this restaurant and, on my first attempt, was told it would be a 20-minute wait for a table. Since all the nearby restaurants were busy, I decided to look elsewhere and found another place. Unfortunately, I didn’t return to inform them, which in hindsight might have been courteous. However, when I returned the next day, the waiter who had served me was noticeably upset and refused to seat us even though there were many tables available.
I understand that restaurant staff deal with a lot, but the reaction seemed overly harsh and passive aggressive. A simple conversation could have resolved any misunderstandings. I hope this feedback can be taken as a way to care more about customers as it just sounds like they don’t mind mistreating them. Now that I’ve read the other reviews available here, this story makes more sense...
Read moreWe arrived at exactly the same time as an Italian couple to whom two nice tables were offered as options. After they got seated, we wanted to take the other table which was refused with the excuse that it was reserved. We were led to a table by the entrance which was not very nice although there were many other free tables. Even though I talked to them in Italian and they should have been aware of the fact that I could understand them, the waiters talked to each other behind our table about whether the new guests were italians or foreigners. They went on making fun of the "stupid foreigners". Hearing that we immediately left the restaurant. I would strongly discourage anyone from eating in this restaurant whose staff is rude and hostile...
