Bar "Da Carola" — Restaurant in Lipari

Honestly if you want a good advice, don't go to this place. Expensive prices for poor quality granite and poor or even inexistent service. When we went to pay we spoke to the owner trying to give a feedback regarding the service and taste and the response was really inappropriate, we ended up arguing. He ended the conversation saying "if you don't have money to spend don't come to this island". He spoke to us like if we were wrong to let him know that we didn't appreciate the experience and he made us feel like we were not enough high class to eat there. We saw the prices when we sat down so the money was not the problem, Even if they were rude we paid the bill plus "service charge" and left the granite basically untouched. He even said that he did us a favour to give us a half full glass of water when...

💗Mi piacerebbe invitare la proprietaria, la signora Carola, a mangiare la granita nelle mie zone, dove la granita AL Cioccolato NON VIENE FATTA con il LATTE.

Questo perché la signora con mooolta "gentilezza" mi ha detto che: NON può essere che nelle zone di Catania fanno la granita senza latte e che sicuramente SE FANNO LA GRANITA SENZA LATTE VIENE UNA SCHIFEZZA 😅😂

Tutto questo perché dopo aver ordinato quella che credevo una granita al cioccolato ricevo un bicchierino di crema al cioccolato sciolta (tipo gelato sciolto).

Dalla sua consistenza si evince che può contenere latte ( che purtroppo non posso mangiare) e così quando chiedo informazioni per sincerarmi ricevo la sfuriata della signora che con presunzione e toni accesi mi dice che... Non può essere che la granita la fanno senza latte!

Mi scuso spiegando dispiaciuta che se avessi immaginato non l'avrei ordinata.

La signora continua con tono insolente e sicuro a voce alta facendo girare tutti i presenti e mettendomi anche in imbarazzo.

⭐Signora Carola se viene vicino Catania le offro la granita così può vedere che "SCHIFEZZA" producono i bar Siciliani!!!

E magari poi dopo cambia idea!!!

Inoltre le consiglio di trattare con garbo i clienti perché da numerose recensioni sì evince che è solita trattare i suoi clienti in maniera inappropriata (sembra che il cliente non abbia nessun valore da come gli si rivolge).

Uscendo dal bar mi sono resa conto che le persone lamentano proprio il fatto di essere stati trattati con sgarbo e presunzione.

A lei piacerebbe essere trattata così??

🔴 Riguardo il prezzo (5€) elevato per un piccolo bicchiere di crema di gelato al cioccolato (sciolto) potrei anche sorvolare, dopotutto siamo a Panarea, ma almeno per favore NON chiamatela GRANITA che è come chiamare pasta la pizza.

Potreste chiamarla ad esempio "Delizia al cioccolato fondente "...

✔️ Mi farebbe molto piacere farle cambiare idea e chissà che magari non possa decidere poi di inserire nel menù la vera granita siciliana al cioccolato.

We joined this place as a friend recommended the fantastic granita...so we went there for caffe Granite and a panino, price and value was totally ok for this place directly on the Port. We asked for to pay and Additionally to our food there were 2 more drinks on the bill...so we complained, the Staff changed the bill, everything was ok. Before we went back to the Boot we went agsin it was hot and the Granite very good and it happend exactly the same...so they Charged us instead of like 9 €, 22€ € on the bill were 2 Espressi , and a cake which we never had. 2 times in 2 hours ... So its very nice but control what...
