We were excited to try I’m Pasta after a lovely morning along the Livorno promenade, but our experience was frustrating and disappointing. Despite waiting nearly 20 minutes and speaking directly to a staff member, we were bypassed multiple times while newer parties were seated—including a group behind us in line.

When we pointed out two available tables, a staff member implied we’d be seated soon. Instead, they rearranged tables and gave them to a larger group—without so much as an apology or update. The same staff member walked away and left us standing there with no communication at all. We left feeling disrespected and invisible.

We understand that restaurants get busy, but the way we were treated lacked basic courtesy. It left us questioning whether tourists are valued here. We hope management reflects on this, because no food is worth being treated that way.

This pasta restaurant was an unforgettable culinary experience! We ordered several dishes Cacio e Pepe, Lemon & Clam Spaghetti, Butter & Sage Ravioli, and Saffron Risotto, and every bite was amazing.
