A pretentious, hypocritical, overrrated place that looks like a dumpster dive sea shack! I cannot speak for the food taste and quality as I was not allowed to eat here. But I will speak to the appearance and the service.

It’s decorated with communist, radical revolutionary decor from Che Guevarra to Maradona — all great and good!

But peak into the kitchen and the bar stand and its disgusting. Unclean and unkept. Smell of rotten fish, sticky cheap oil, and bread crumbs all over the floor makes you question the quality and tate of the food.

As for service: arrogance, unkindness and incompetence! I arrived 1 hour before closing and they said they could not arr he for a table of 1 person because the kitchen is closed yet they were still serving.

I explained that I arrived at this time due to the train strikes, took a cab from Pisa Centrale to their restaurant because I wanted to support a local restaurant with what appeared to be supportive of activism, organizing and revolution. But they are just pretending!! It’s a facade!

I explained multiple times the challenges of my arrival there, asked for kindness for one table for one person, that I was not aware a reservation was needed because they don’t even have a website or stated on Google that one is required.

They were cruel and unkind and have not care about the train labor strike!!

A hidden gem in Livorno where you can enjoy local seafood! I visited here during a cruise stop in Livorno. It had high ratings on Google Maps for seafood, so I took a shuttle to the city center and walked from there. It’s a bit tucked away, but within walking distance of the central market. Since it opened at 1:00 PM, I waited on a bench in the nearby park, and the staff greeted me with a smile. Some reviews mentioned poor service, but I found the staff to be very friendly and kind. I ordered octopus, mussels, and fish. Everything was fresh, and the seasoning was simple yet perfectly balanced to bring out the natural flavors. The mussel soup was especially outstanding—dipping bread into it brought out the rich shellfish broth and lemon aroma, a true taste of the Mediterranean. The atmosphere inside was unique and relaxing, offering a quiet break from touristy crowds. Prices were very reasonable. I was very satisfied with the value for money. Aveva ottime recensioni su Google Maps per il pesce, così ho preso la navetta per il centro e poi ho raggiunto il locale a piedi. È un po’ nascosto, ma si trova a pochi passi dal mercato centrale. Poiché apre alle 13:00, ho aspettato su una panchina del parco vicino, e il personale mi ha accolto con un sorriso. Avevo letto recensioni negative sul servizio, ma in realtà lo staff è stato molto cordiale e disponibile. Ho ordinato polpo, cozze e pesce. Tutto era fresco, condito in modo semplice ma perfettamente bilanciato per valorizzare i sapori naturali. La zuppa di cozze era eccezionale: intingere il pane nel brodo ha rilasciato tutto l’aroma del mare e del limone, un vero assaggio del Mediterraneo. L’ambiente all’interno è particolare e rilassante, perfetto per godersi il pasto lontano dal caos turistico. I prezzi sono molto onesti. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Se passate dal porto di Livorno, consiglio vivamente di fermarvi qui. Vale la pena provarlo prima che venga inserito nella Guida...

Wir haben uns auf einen schönen Abend im Restaurant gefreut. Meine Freundin (Vegetarierin) hat mir zu Liebe dieses Restaurant ausgewählt, da ich unbedingt Fisch essen wollte. Der Koch bot nach Rücksprache auch ein Grillgemüse Teller an, sodass wir beide glücklich werden. Wir fragten nach der Zubereitung des Gemüses und man sagte uns, es sei nicht frittiert. Als dann der Grillgemüse Teller kam, war der leider voller Öl, es war frittiert und nicht mehr genießbar. Wir ließen den Teller zurück gehen. Meine Cozze war in Ordnung und gut zu essen. Als Hauptspeise hatten wir dann Pasta mit Tomatensoße und Calamari. Die Hauptspeise war ebenfalls in Ordnung. Das sehr negative kam dann, als wir die Rechnung haben wollten. Der Küchenchef rechnete für unsere Gerichte 45€ ab, wobei wir eine Vorspeise nicht mal gegessen haben. Die anderen guten, aber recht einfachen Speisen rechnete er mit einem Menüpreis ab, für den wir Sonst Thunfischsteak, drei Vorspeisen und ein ganzes Menü bekommen hätten. Wir kamen uns als Touristen etwas verarscht vor. Als wir dann gern die Rechnung erklärt bekommen hätten, ließ man uns sitzen und kam nicht wieder. Als wir dann zum Tresen gegangen sind und endlich zahlen wollten und nochmal auf die unverständliche Rechnung hinwiesen, waren die Kellner erneut überfordert und gingen in die Küche zum Küchenchef, der uns das Gemüse mitgeben wollte, wir es aber auf Grund des vielen Öls nicht gegessen hatten. Als wir gesagt haben, dass es uns nicht geschmeckt hat, tickte der Koch aus und beschimpfte uns wir sollen das Gemüse jetzt zahlen, er hat jetzt die Kosten und wir sind selbst schuld. Das ganze Restaurant schaute und verfolgte diese Situation, die uns und selbst den eigenen Kellnern unangenehm war, da sie gefühlt unser Problem verstanden, aber keine Befugnis hatten gegenüber dem tyrannischen Küchenchef der darüber hinaus uns Einblick in die Küche gewährte, die alles andere als sauber und hygienisch anmutete. Leider machte uns diese 10 minütliche Diskussion mit dem Küchenchef, der sich überhaupt nicht kinderfreundlich und kulant zeigte den ganzen Abend kaputt. Nach erneuter Diskussion, dass wir gern einfach die Rechnung erklärt bekommen hätten, wie man auf 45€ kommt und nicht einfach fix Menü abrechnet ohne Einzelposten (Wir hatten nicht mal das Menü) wurden wir weiter beschimpft. Nun äußerten wir, dass die Preise wohl willkürlich abgerechnet wurden und wir doch einfach eine Erklärung hätten. Nach sage und schreibe 45 Minuten Diskussion und Beschimpfung des Küchenchefs wurde dann gesagt, zahlt 30€ und geht. Keine Kritikfähigkeit, Intransparenz und unsachliches Verhalten machten uns sehr traurig und schockierten uns. Wir kommen nicht wieder, auch wenn zumindest die Fischgerichte in Ordnung waren, muss man sagen, dass hier Service und Kundenzufriedenheit an letzter...
