The first impression of this Restaurant is really okay. The staff is friendly but takes quite some time to adress us ( we were at 8pm. there and half of the tables were empty). The Menu is either on paper in Italian or as a scanable QRcode on the tabel viewable where you can read it on English, German, Spanish ... They have a huge variety of pizzas, pasta and antipasti. After we ordered our food the waiter came back with a glass of water and a basket of breadsticks. We ordered the water with our food together but not the breadsticks so we thought they were something like a free apatizer. The Pizzas took some time to make but if the quality was good it would be worth it ( we ordered one Quattro Formaggi and one Prosciutto with extra olives). The pizzas itself were quite okay the Prosciutto was better than the Quattro Formaggi. That was because the Quattro Formaggi was made without tomato sauce. This itself was okay but we didn't expect that. A friendly reminder would be nice. (Every Pizza is made only with the ingredients which are listed on the menu). After we ate our pizzas we also ordered one Tiramisu this one was quite good and yummy so a definitive recommendation. The only big thing that made us angry was that at the end when we PAYED they have ADDED the BREADSTICKS to our invoice and demanded 5€ for 2 of them which itself is too much. But the biggest point is that no one told us that we have to pay for them (in some countries this is illegal). All in all was the restaursnt pretty okay but the breadstick incidence led to me not recommending this restaurant to tourists. What a...
Read moreWe had a lovely dinner at Pizzeria Almici in Lovere and really enjoyed the experience. The staff was very friendly, and the whole place had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The location is stunning, right by the lake, with a beautiful terrace that offers a great view, especially around sunset.
The interior is also nicely decorated, stylish yet relaxed, making it a pleasant spot whether you’re dining inside or out.
The pizzas were delicious, great flavor, but minimal toppings, and not soggy at all. The crust could have been a little crispier for my taste, but overall it was very well made and satisfying. It’s worth noting that the owner didn’t seem to be Italian, which was a bit unexpected for a pizzeria in Italy (not sure), but the quality of the food and service spoke for itself.
All in all, Pizzeria Almici is a great spot for a casual meal with a view, and definitely worth a visit if you’re in the...
Read moreVisited during lunchtime so could choose only from set menu or pizza as it is a very busy time. Quite expensive but on the main street overlooking lake Iseo, very busy during lunchtime. Set menu 20 eur (two dishes). Main menu has English version, set menu Italian only. Loved seafood pasta but the fish main was not that great to my taste (a selection of 3 types of fish, one being from the lake - served with head). Some of the staff a bit rude and it's best if you...
