The place is always full of people, which is a great sign! 👌🏼 We really liked the food and the fact that the restaurant has a gluten-free option on the menu (although I couldn’t find that information on the menu, I asked the waitress). The only thing we didn't like is the fact of how burned the edges of one of our pizzas were and that the second one had a tomato that wasn't super ready to eat yet. 🙈 The staff was super busy and managed the guests very nicely. They forgot about us for quite some time, but it was totally understandable. We would completely recommend it! Try to have a table outside - the climate is amazing there.

Sono andata a cena. Location veramente carina infatti ho dato 5 stelle si è scelto di andare lì perché 2 di noi intolleranti al lattosio,io purtroppo ho altre problematiche che in altre pizzerie ho risolto. La pizza non è male il mio giudizio da 3.stelle va per la poca scelta di pizze, avendo diverse problematiche alimentari tra cui il lattosio ho avuto veramente difficoltà, senza lattosio hanno solo la mozzarella tutti gli altri ingredienti (ad esempio gi spinaci che sono parte di una delle loro pizze) non prevedono la variante senza lattosio. Dopo Ave r fatto un po' d li rimostranze hanno trovato un'alternativa ma non ho potuto variare con le pizze perché gli ingredienti a disposizione sono solo quelli che compongono le pizze in menù non si può fare cambiamenti. Spero che provveda o perché è veramente limitante. Dover pagare un'aggiunta per il senza lattosio e alla fine doversi accontentare di una Margherita o una bianca e basta perché non prevedono altri alimenti senza lattosio. Delle due la. Mia è quella con il verde che prevedeva gli spinaci ma essendo saltati con il burro hanno variato con le cime di rapa che erano l'unico ingrediente saltato con olio. Torniamo spesso in questa pizzeria perché ogni volta è una conferma: ambiente giovane e accogliente, servizio veloce e sempre cordiale, e soprattutto… pizze buonissime! Una menzione speciale va alla pizza senza glutine, che è davvero una delle migliori mai provate: l’impasto è leggero, digeribile, ben lievitato, e arriva al tavolo grande e fragrante – una vera gioia! Ah la Cecina è troppo buona! Il locale è confortevole in ogni stagione: d’inverno si sta bene all’interno, mentre d’estate è possibile mangiare all’aperto in piazza San Francesco, una delle più suggestive di Lucca. Il contesto rende l’esperienza ancora più piacevole. Molto interessante anche la proposta di gusti: oltre ai classici, ci sono pizze stagionali con abbinamenti particolari e mai banali. Si percepisce la cura nella scelta degli ingredienti e la voglia di offrire qualcosa di sempre nuovo. Insomma, se siete a Lucca e cercate una pizza che vi lasci il sorriso, qui andate sul sicuro!

Very good pizza and the staff was very nice even though it was fully booked and probably stressed due to the amount of tourists. We were lucky one day without reservation... Usually you definitely should reserve... The restaurant also looks nice inside...
