As a Swedish person you are really blessed and spoiled when it comes to amazing restaurant experiences. Some of the best restaurants in the world are located in Sweden. The 3 star guide Michelin restaurant Frantzén is just one of them. That level of restaurants is of course course amazing - until you go elsewhere. Then most places don’t even come close in any field - food, wine pairing, service, ambience etc. That is also the case for Pe Ma in Sardinia. A 4.8 review is WAY over what it should be. 4.1-4.2 would be much more accurate. The food is really good But not 4.8 good. Ingredients are very fresh but there were no WOW moments in any of the 6 dishes we tried. It’s good cooking but nothing that stands out or is cooked by chefs with their own creativity and a passion for creating new cooking trends; rather than playing it too safe. Best dish of the evening was the dessert. Their Tiramisu is to die for! Also they should get credit for great wine list. Service however is very slow and we had a finished plate of spaghetti on our table for 10 minutes with several staff passing without acting. And the place was not even full. Really bad. Overall - most likely the best restaurant in Santa Teresa but that says more about Santa Teresa than Pe Ma unfortunately. With some more creativity in the kitchen and more attentive staff this could be really...

We had a fantastic evening at PeMa Ristorante, where everything from the food to the atmosphere exceeded our expectations. The XO eggplant appetizer was a delightful start, with incredible flavor and a perfect texture. We then shared the Sardinian tagliatelle with the ragù of the day, Fiore Sardo, and dried red — another outstanding dish that was full of rich, savory goodness.
For our main courses, we enjoyed the fish fillet of the day with cauliflower and beurre blanc with shellfish, and the barbecued rabbit with carrots. Both dishes were expertly prepared and absolutely superb. The flavors were delicate yet complex, a true showcase of the chef’s skill.
Dessert was a showstopper. We had “The Wow,” and it lived up to its name. Be sure to dig in with your spoon to get all the delicious layers underneath — it’s truly worth savoring.
The service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with the added bonus of a smoke-free environment. Overall, it was an unforgettable dining experience, and we’ll definitely...
Read moreHolidaying in North East Sardinia from the U.K. in mid June 2023, we visited his highly recommended eatery for lunch in the heart of Santa Teresa di Gallura.
We were warmly welcomed and attended to by Stefano, who was friendly, helpful and professional.
This restaurant is very well laid out, nicely decorated, clean and well ventilated.
We tried the taster menu and it was wonderful - half a dozen dishes of finely prepared seafood of different varieties. It was delicious..
The detail in preparation and presentation is undertaken by a Michelin star chef, who even kindly agreed to meet us at our tables when we asked for him.
We also had some lovely desserts and were given complimentary mirto, a local digestivo. Both were fabulous.
This is an amazing restaurant - quality venue, quality product, quality staff.
The bill was reasonable, given the quality of the product.
I highly recommend you visit this quality...
