The food is mostly good, but some dishes are completely wrong, such the risotto alla pilota. Antipasti are very simple (almost too simple), pasta is great. The (single) server is quite available and efficient - even if the kitchen is very slow - but the mise en place (at least outside) was dreadful: broken linens, dirty forks, pathetic bread offering, legions of mosquitos. The interior looked much better and well curated, but we didn't stay in. Also, given the food quality, the price is definitely on the expensive side wrt most other restaurants in the city centre. We had a lovely late (Italian) lunch at this restaurant. It was a bit away of the touristic spots but so much worth it. The food was DELICIOUS. The wine was very good and above all, the service was great. They were very friendly and sweet, made good recommendations - took care of allergies et cetera. Highly recommend this place if you want to go somewhere where the food and service is good, and you’re not in the middle of a touristic busy square where you are stared away because they want your table to be free for the next people. Giorno 24/12/2023 ho chiamato questo ristorante per prenotare un tavolo per due persone per il 31/12.. Una persona al telefono risponde alla richiesta dicendomi che era rimasto un solo tavolo disponibile all"esterno del locale, "sotto le stelle", avendo ricevuto risposta positiva accetto ringraziando e prenoto per le 20:00. La sera di Capodanno ci presentiamo al locale, dopo essere arrivati dalla provincia di Milano per cenare. Veniamo accolti dal personale di sala che con un walkie talkie contatta la persona che tiene gli appuntamenti in un altra zona del locale, dando il mio cognome. La voce risponde che non c'èra nessun tavolo e che mi aveva detto al telefono, il giorno della prenotazione, che qualora ci fosse stato un tavolo mi avrebbe ricontattato. Chiaramente a quanto pare mi ero inventato il tavolo all' esterno e sotto le stelle..... Mi ero inventato pure l orario.. Esco dal locale, chiamo il numero del ristorante ma chiaramente non risponde nessuno, (hanno il mio numero), allora provo da un altro e subito ricevo risposta. Parte il litigio con la persona che mi aveva preso l appuntamento. Nega tutto e se ne lava le mani senza neanche provare a risolvere in qualche modo. Morale della favola, il 31/12 rimaniamo senza tavolo, sotto la pioggia, e senza cena. Domanda, ma non era più semplice chiamare e spiegare che data la pioggia non si potevano usare i tavoli all' esterno e non c'erano più posti al coperto? O meglio ancora, non era più facile evitare un over booking quando sai già che potrebbe esserci brutto tempo? Vergogna. Siete una...
