I went to Osteria Le Radici with my family. We were welcomed in a really friendly and polite way. The staff speak very good English and the menu is available in different languages as well. There’s a very big selection of wines, mostly local or Sicilian. The dishes are really amazing and well presented, offering something different from the other restaurants. The chefs, the waiters and the owner have a big background working around Europe. We ordered Tuna Carpaccio (beautiful presentation and colour, you could feel the high quality), Tuna Belly and Red Prawn Croquettes as appetisers. Main course we had amazing fresh Taglioni pasta with Sea Urchin, Tuna steak cooked perfectly, it was just seared like a tataki served with Pecorino cream and Endive, Calamarata pasta with Tuna Ragù and Aubergine Cream. Bruschettas with anchovis, burrata, and dried mini tomatoes (4 pieces) were so tempting that we started to eat before taking a picture 😂 Amazing combination! Afterwards, pasta dishes (one of them modified to vegetarian version) made us already satisfied but could not resist trying a white chocolate cheescake dessert. And all this great food experience was even improved by the service (young man speaking excellent english). We were so relaxed after this evening that we forgot our photobag. When my husband came back to collect it, he learned that the restaurant manager had been driving around the narrow streets to find us and give it back. A return trip last night, exceptional food, wonderful service and (even with a huge group of tourists wreaking havoc) the staff kept it running smoothly.
