Ristorante Lorens - Cocktail bar 68' — Restaurant in Massa

I feel a little bit ashamed that I haven’t stopped and reviewed Lorens before. It’s one of my go-tos, my home away from home, my safe space food wise. It’s where I go when I want to be sure I’ll go home amazed by my meal (even though I’ve probably been 20 times by now). First and foremost Lorens is amazing with allergies! They also have a vegan menu and in general their kitchen DOES NOT have dairy. Always ask just to be sure but it is perfect for lactose intolerants / dairy allergies. Second, Lorens has a spectacular offering of fish - fresh, tasty, exciting. You name it. One of my favorites is the “Padella”, literally a pan of all of the goodies the sea has to offer, in a yummy stew. Finally, the staff is a class act. Each person is knowledgeable, kind, prepared and down to earth. They will treat the 3 year old child with the same respect they offer to an elderly couple. They have the courtesy to explain things when needed and the promptness to accommodate most any need. A true empire of Female Culinary Entrepreneurship....

We decided to have family dinner there . I really love italien food , the plates which i order was really not tasty (( risotto was terrible, spaghetti was very very ordinary, i hade to eat 10 times better at the more ordinal street resto then gere( for this price quality is not the same level( They bring us shrimps not the same , without avocado without sources for 26 euros its was big deception. 25 aprile cena in 5, locale pieno, prenotato 2 gg prima. Devo dare 3 stelle, per il cibo nulla da eccepire, ma siamo rimasti basiti , anzi siamo rimasti male , molto ma molto male… in quanto ci è stato portato il conto senza averlo richiesto ( della serie potete alzarvi e lasciare il tavolo, solo perché era arrivata gente non prevista!!!! ) . Non trovo consono voler fare il locale chic , per poi cadere in questa scortesi, chiamiamola cosí!!!Mai successa una cosa del genere in tanti anni , a Massa ma anche nel resto d Italia. Faccio presente che usciamo a cena tutte le settimane. Consiglio se posso, anche di togliere dal sito la pizza, che non è prevista nel ristorante, é stata tolta dal menu circa 1 mese e 1/2 fa. Ovviamente non lo consiglierei, solo per il motivo sopra descritto.

Dopo aver visionato la vostra risposta che sembra veramente una presa in giro, modifico la recensione e metto una stella, data la molta ma molta presunzione di chi ha risposto. Ho prenotato 2 gg prima, se poi si sono aggiunti dei clienti alle 22,00 , non puoi far capire ( con il conto non richiesto e presentato al tavolo )di andartene dal locale!!! ( ovviamente sottinteso) Non si fa così!!! Comunque a volte , il silenzio è d’oro!!!

Ps: agggiungerei anche che siamo stati anche troppi signori ad alzarci dal tavolo subito, senza proferire parola!!!
