Blumarina — Restaurant in Milan

We’ve tried to eat here cause it’s Italian cuisine. Food are quiet good but staffs aren’t that kind to us we don’t know for what reason. Place is not bad. They serve abundant food when it comes for menu carta but we don’t know when it comes for menu set menu. Food are a little bit salty. Then they trying to advice you something in the menu specially when it comes for seafoods they will tell you that it’s fresh and arrived in the morning, so we tried his advice but when the food arrived and we started to eat the seafood aren’t fresh and they keep saying that it’s fresh “fyi we know what’s is fresh and what doesn’t so don’t keep telling that it’s fresh”. You can extremely taste into the food and the smell but unfortunately the scent doesn’t smell anything cause it’s cover for a strong flavour of the lemon and spices. This is a hidden gem in Milan. Is not fancy but the food, service and local atmosphere is hard to beat. Portions are very generous and prices are quite good (10-20 euros). We (group of 4) ordered a fried mix of seafood, one seafood spaghetti, a big stake for my son , shrimp penne, and carbonara spaghetti, plus a litter of the house white wine , a medium bier , Aperol, torta de la nona, tiramissu, for $108 euros before tip. Lovely seafood risotto. Good staff and friendly. All food is fresh and very tasty. Staff friendly and helpful. It does get very busy. It was quiet when we got there then the whole place filled up quickly. Not a problem it obviously means the food is good and it was all locals which is a good sign. My wife loved her meal and the prices were very good and we indeed gave a tip as we were very pleased with our meal thanks guys and keep it up. Rich and Penny...
