In this part of Milan, it felt quite difficult to find a pleasant spot for an evening sit-down. Citra solved this problem, offering a beautifully designed environment despite its smaller interior, along with an excellent selection of craft beers and wines.

You can also sit outside on a fairly quiet street.

We had a fantastic tasting experience here, discovering unique beer brands. It’s ideal for hanging out with a group of friends.

The owner and manager is wonderful and kind. We had a long conversation, and I must say she has great ambition and heart, and I wish her the best of luck. It’s clear she takes incredible care of the bar!

A pochi metri dalla stazione di Lambrate, sorge il meraviglioso Citra, un piccolo locale che mi ha incuriosito per la sua filosofia: servire esclusivamente birre artigianali di piccoli produttori, dando la possibilità di conoscere e apprezzare la qualità anche di marchi sconosciuti.

Alla spina ho provato sia una IPA, buona anche se non proprio amara come la classica IPA, che una stout scura, questa eccezionale al punto che ho fatto un secondo giro. Da non perdere anche la selezione in frigo, un vero carosello di lattine e bottiglie coloratissime e interessanti: solo questo basterebbe per tornare e provarle tutte.

La stessa filosofia si ritrova anche nel cibo con prodotti particolari di piccole imprese: da amante del tartufo la mia scelta è andata proprio sulle patatine al tartufo, buonissime.

Excellent craft beer bar in the Lambrate neighbourhood of Milan. Super friendly and knowledgeable owner, with a great selection of Italian and European draught beers, alobh with a solid range of British cans and bottles.
