Upon entering we were told that during lunch hours only brunch menu is available - this means no coffee or deserts. Suprisingly enough two guests were served deserts shortly after we were seated. I asked about deserts again and we were still told its a no. So, if you think you will get a coffee in this cafe thats not always gona be the case. (even though we came at 2 pm and their website says coffee is served from 10 to 8)
The minimum order was 5 euro per person however after ordering cocktails for 8 euro each, the waiter still insisted that we get one of their lunch option. I ordered a pan-fried sea bass with mango sauce. Shortly after the restaurant started smelling like burnt food and I found myself dissapointed to see it was my fish, served ala "pan-burnt". The first bite tasted off. I flipped the fish and it was completely black from one side, turned to carbon.
I told the waiter that the fish is burned and made the point to flip it to the burned side, he just said okay and took it away.
Nobody, checked with us to see if the food was okay, pretending like the whole place doesnt smell of burnt food, and the smell did its own to affect the vibe of the place. My partner got fried chickpea sticks that also tasted average.
The cocktails were really good and the cats are always great, but the burnt food, desert menu for some but not for all, high prices of food items, 1.50 charge per person to "take care of the cat" (like the pricing of food doesnt already justify it) and average customer service makes it a poor experience.
There are so many good places in Milano that will feed you excellent food in great atmosphere, do yourself a favor and skip this one or you will...
Read more5/5 stars with the cats that are there! Very friendly, well taken care of and seem to have everything they need.
3/5 stars due to the treatment we saw of the cats by their staff while we were there. One of the male staff came up to the one-eyed cat, Freddie, and kept bopping him on the nose while the cat was very clearly annoyed (airplane ears, sat up from laying down) and eventually the cat backed up from him and looked like he was going to swat at him.
It felt as though every time we were able to get a cat to interact with us (playing with a toy, enjoying pets, etc.) one of the staff had to come up and take the cats attention away by hugging them or kissing them. My girlfriend and I both have had cats all of our lives and told them that we currently have 4 cats, but they treated us as if we did not know how to be around cats, which made the environment tense. Mind you, we were just calling them over or trying to play with a wand toy or letting them sniff us and petting their head, nothing that would warrant a reaction like they gave.
You are told that you are free to sit where you would like when you come in, however, when we got up to see some of the cats (we were seated in area most were not in) we were told we had to remain in the seats that we had picked. This was very confusing as they did not say we had to stay in our original seats we picked.
They do have a variety of drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic), and food to enjoy. The experience would have been much better if the staff did not try and control everything we did and keep the cats...

You may think this is a typical cat cafe, but it's so much more than that. Imagine meeting your idol for the first time, but instead you end up in a very taken care of place with 9 very well groomed star-cats; they even have their own merch (mugs, badges, postcards, key-chains, and so much more). Each of these 9 cats have names and great stories.
Here you will not only get served food (not the best breakfast in the world, but decent enough considering you get to play with the kitties), but also immerse yourself in an establishment with some story-telling with lots of attention to detail. It's both functional to the customers and the cats.
The staff are very friendly and they all speak English...and if they don't, they will make an effort to make you feel at home.
Prices are OK, and the food is tasty, although there's not much variety for breakfast, especially if you feel like eating something salty like a sandwich or some bacon.
Fun fact: The cats are named after rock stars, because they ARE rock stars...obvi. Blondie was my ultimate favorite, because we bonded while she tried to get in the toilet (apparently that's her thing), and afterwards she climbed onto my lap for some cuddles. Do not panic, there's plenty of lint removers at the exit so you can de-cat on your way to the fashion district.
If you are passing by this place and you have some reservations about it, just go in, because it's clean and lots of fun...even if you are not that keen on these...
