The rating was based on the overall experience. Please note that the waiters were faultless in manners.
We ordered 2 pizzas - Ricordi di Malga and the other Radici. Overall the pizzas taste good. I have to say though the pizza Ricordi di Malga is on the heavy side...it could be alot appetizing with moderated servings of fried leeks.
The service is way below par of a restaurant that aims to offer a gourmet pizza dining experience. And here are some of the discomforts
Attention to Lighting I was seated at a table where a overhanging spotlight was shining directly at me. It makes reading the menu difficult and I had to look sideways all throughout the dinner.
Speed The time taken to have our orders served was about 40++ minutes. I also noted on selected tables some customers are served dishes at different timings. Something tells me the kitchen is disorganized with preparing orders.
Presentation of Dishes Selected pizzas had ingredients assembled on a trolley table in front of the customers. It could have been a novel idea had there been more space between tables. At times the assembling was done behind the customers. This renders the presentation redundant. It also slows down the already slow service. I would be just as happy or perhaps more delighted to be served the pizza brought straight to me from the kitchen. I also find the assembling rather messy and unappetizing especially with people passing by. It also added additional stress to waiters whose role is to serve, not to assemble pizzas.
Drinks not served in unison. I can understand there will be a time laspe in serving two different wines by the glass. But the time between pourings of our wine exceeded usual serving times at restaurants. Also, the server could not get near to us because the passage way was blocked by the trolley on which another server was "assembling" a pizza for a customer on the table next to us.
I hope the pointers were taken into consideration by the owners. I sincerely believe with a little attention on the organization of the delivery process, this pizza place could have strong potential to be enjoyable dining experience. It is a shame it has been marred by...

The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly from the fresh kitchen section. The eggplant parmigiana was simply amazing, bursting with rich flavors and perfectly cooked. The fig salad was equally delightful, offering a fresh and tasty complement to the hearty eggplant dish.
However, the pizza left much to be desired. It arrived cold, and the dough was undercooked, which was disappointing given the expectations set by the other dishes.
The biggest letdown was the service. Despite the inviting ambiance, the staff was inattentive. We had to call them multiple times, even for the dessert menu, which detracted from the overall experience.
In summary, while the location and certain dishes were impressive, the inconsistent food quality and lackluster service mean I would not return or recommend...
Read moreInnovative pizza place: the idea is to combine the pizza tradition (from the south) with the gourmet foods from the northern alpine regions of Italy. Very nice setting, reminiscent of a mountain chalet (including a scent of wood and pine). Exceedingly attentive and friendly service, one of the best in Milan. The crust of the pizza is in the Roman style: very thin and crispy. The toppings totally unheard of, such as the one inspired by "pizzoccheri" (facetiously called pizz-occhera), a buckwheat pasta from Valtellina, the region that neighbours st Moritz in Switzerland. The pizza included kale and a fondue that was poured on top by the waiter while serving it. In fact most pizzas are finished at the table, which is also quite entertaining. I give it 4 stars because it is still a pizza place and I reserve the 5 stars for haute cuisine, but surely among the best of its kind. Very interesting wine list, a pretty decent tap beer selection and unbelievably good...
