Fairouz - Gerusalemme — Restaurant in Milan

Went there for Timeleft dinner. I ordered the smallest Degustation menu for 30 EUR - I did not like the food, it is very basic flavour dishes, nothing special, especially in comparison to any other cafe in Italy. The worst part is the staff and the messy service - the waiters are not polite, they bring things throw it on the table without explaining what dish is it and for who. We were 5 people at the table, some of us ordered dishes we don't know, so it was tricky to navigate what's for whom. The waiters also kept forgetting to bring some dishes and only did it after being reminded twice. Maybe I should have ordered a meat dish or falafel as that got better feedback. Still the restaurant was a disappointment for me as I wished I had gone to any other place for that meal.

Food was okay, but it took far too long to be served. We were a group of four, and the food came separately — two of us were eating while the other two were still waiting for their food for 20 minutes. I’ve never experienced this in any restaurant anywhere in the world; food for the same table should arrive together. I ordered two Shish Tawouk, but both were served on the same plate, which felt odd. I also ordered a manaesh with just cheese (no tomatoes), but it came with tomatoes and za’atar instead. The menu is very limited and not easy to understand for those unfamiliar with Lebanese cuisine. Mediocre. I was staying at the hotel opposite the Fairouz restaurant, so on a rainy evening, I choose to dine there.The welcoming wasn't great, I was waiting on the side of the door near the fridge to make space for the workers but the manager/waiter was a bit rude at first sight... By mistake I didn't read the menu before entering, so once seated I asked if they had any meat dishes and the answer was this is a vegetarian restaurant, but we have some chicken but that's not meat sir the waiter replyied and some fish... well I went for the cod with basmati rice and caramelized onions, which didn't impressed me at all... They didn't accept my cash (€100)....I had...
