La Birreria Italiana — Restaurant in Milan

After having our New Year's reservation at a different restaurant cancelled, we've walked by this cozy-looking neighborhood place on our way back to the hotel, and luckily for us, they had a few tables free.

A pre-made 50EUR-per-person New Year's menu included many various dishes, each and every one of them better than the last. There was so much food that we took almost half of it back with us to the hotel. The staff were amazing, helpful, and super friendly, which made an already great experience even better.

Ultimately, we were super happy that our original plans fell through, because they likely wouldn't have been anywhere near as great...

Was pity because I didn't have any company for my simple dinner, yet it was very nice the burger was so nice with a reasonable price range. They offered several kinds of beers incl draft and bottles, good. Afaik this is not Italian tipo pizzeria so much as Americano, but so well. I was shocked that the burger with fried potato sticks were served with Ketchup!!! But so well. So many Italiano young customers - so trendy. Also she offers nice variety house wines with euro4.5 it was good. Overall...

Service on a Sunday, busy but not that busy is super super SUPER slooooow. 30 minute wait while waiters moved around us before we got someone’s attention to give us a menu which was a scan online QR code. It didn’t work for us. Went inside and was told to go back out to the table where we were ignored some more. Finally ordered a beer because we could get a paper menu. Took another 15 minutes for the beer to come. Come if you have all the time...
