I walked in and picked up a shopping basket. Soon after, a friendly employee offered me a metal frame type thing, which allows you to use a basket as a trolley. I'm not sure what it's called, as we don't have those in the UK. Whatever it's called, it's a great invention and I was really grateful that the staff member offered it to me. They really need to start using them in the UK...
As I walked around the stop, I was really impressed by how much stuff was actually in there. It's a big shop, but not massive, so the fact that they had crammed so much in there, was really impressive. The products were really well stocked and I didn't actually see a single item that was out of stock, despite the fact that I entered late in the evening.
The shop was clean and tidy, although it was a little difficult to navigate at times, due to the narrow aisles and high number of customers inside. However, I didn't mind because there were so many great products inside, that I enjoyed just looking around and wondering what other goodies I would find! While this was fine for me as I wasn't pressed for time, I'd imagine that it would be difficult for customers who are in a rush, as they would likely struggle to find what they're looking for.
There were staffed-tills, but I chose to use the self-service tills, and was able to complete my transaction quickly and without any issues.
