Mama Rosa — Restaurant in Milan

my wife and I were looking for authentic Italian food where the locals go and a place with a cool vibe and ambiance. mama Rosa delivered and more. food was soooo good, authentic, and filling. the wine options were outstanding. the staff was so accommodating recognizing that we were foreigners and needed extra nurturing in making food choices and figuring out the menu. the manager even invited us down to the cellar to see the wine collection and variety. I would definitely recommend and return. 5 stars. to the manager cant wait to dine with you at Cipriani here...

We went there to have a lunch, from the other side of Milan. We liked the reviews and were looking for something like this. And we did not regret at all. Amazing food!!! I wish I could eat more or stayed longer in Milan so we could come again. We ordered both pasta and I think we will never eat better pasta any more. Absolutely recommended. No traps for tourists, only locals. We will come back to Milan just to eat there...

The real deal when it comes to authentic and creative Italian pastas. Everything was cooked to perfection by the talented chef who served a pistachio & bacon pasta that was simply out of this world. Mamma’s style of service was warm and inviting - leaving me wondering if she might really be my mother. As a finale, how could we resist what was quite possibly the best tiramisu we had ever had in conjunction with a tasty...
