A surprisingly delightful neighborhood restaurant.
Just a few minutesâ walk from Lotto metro station. The ownersâa lovely husband-and-wife duoâare incredibly warm and welcoming: mamma runs the kitchen, papĂ takes care of the guests.
My friend and I ordered four dishes. The Anelletti, a Sicilian specialty pasta, was a wonderful surpriseâthis was actually my first time trying it, despite studying in Milan for years as an international student from China. The tuna pasta with paccheri was perfectly balanced, with lemon zest, thyme, and just the right amount of garlicâleft with its skin on, as the chef intended. The octopus tentacle with mashed potatoes was the standout dish: the purĂŠe was rich and silky, made with butter, potatoes, milk, and cheese. The octopus tentacle itself was impressively large and perfectly cookedâhard to imagine how big it was before preparation! Finally, the meatballs were spot on in both texture and seasoning. The bread served alongside was sourced from a southern Italian baker using natural yeast and hand-kneaded doughâyou could really taste the depth of the grains.
They also use certified organic D.O.P. olive oil from the Valle del BelĂŹce in Sicily.

The food is simply outstanding. I had the best lasagna and tiramisu Iâve ever tastedâauthentic, flavorful, and clearly made with love. The cutlet was perfectly cooked, tender, and seasoned to perfection. And the best part? The prices are more than fair for the quality you get.
