McDonald’s used to be known for consistency and convenience, but after the recent scandal, it is impossible to see the brand with the same eyes. What should have been a simple meal now feels like a gamble with quality and safety.
The real problem is trust. Once customers start questioning what is really in the food, the entire foundation of the brand collapses. Instead of clear answers and transparent accountability, McDonald’s has responded with silence, vague statements, and corporate spin. For a company of this size, with millions of families relying on it every day, that is simply unacceptable.
Visiting the restaurants only reinforces this disappointment. Food quality is inconsistent, often served lukewarm or poorly prepared. Service is rushed and impersonal. Cleanliness in several locations falls below even basic standards. Combined with the shadow of the scandal, every bite now feels tainted with doubt.
It is shocking that a global leader would allow itself to fall so low. McDonald’s has the resources to set the highest standards in the industry, but instead it has chosen shortcuts, cost-cutting, and damage control. The scandal made one thing clear: the brand’s priorities are not the customers, but the profits.
For me, McDonald’s no longer represents safety, trust, or value. Until the company makes real, visible changes, starting with honesty, I cannot recommend it to anyone. The golden arches are supposed to symbolize happiness, but now they only remind us of what happens when...
Read moreI ordered takeout from Deliveroo and I am a tourist and I am traveling across Europe and in the other Countries I visited the ordering was easy and in English I ordered the same food I order a McChicken meal and in every McDonald’s they ask if any add on’s twice and once for sides and other for sauce but here they had for bread and I do no add on’s and usually the order is show in confirmation with all the details but here it didn’t show and the food I received quickly but it had no bread/bun and they packed only the chicken covered with mayo and tomato with lettuce and when I tried to contact the app for help it isn’t helping at all as it was just going in a loop and if I even ordered a chicken with the sides why would they send it all mashed up like this because I would obviously throw out lettuce with mayo in contact with cardboard and the restaurant didn’t even suspect an order error this isn’t the restaurants fault it was a human error and a app bug/glitch with doesn’t translate the options overall all this could had been avoided but...
Read moreWhat an od experience! I'm a French crew member. I was passing by Milan on my way to Nice, so I hit the closest McDonald's while waiting for my bus. The prices are very low compared to France, the portions are larger, and the local offering is great! If you haven't tried the pistachio mcflurry, please do so at least once. When I got my order, it was missing a sandwich and ice cream cone - but after telling front counter crew about it I immediately got them. It wasn't perfect, but I did get what I ordered and the staff did its job. Still better than half of French McDonald's...
